To effectively overcome the complex and sophisticated challenges you face, you need more than a simple service provider.
You need a business partner that shares your objectives and values.
You need CIGP.
Our story starts three entrepreneurial generations ago in 1964.
CIGP’s founding idea united a small number of families bound by common values and a shared history into an innovative structure that could provide independent, unbiased and effective solutions to some of the multiple challenges families and entrepreneurs face.
Under the leadership of our Chairman, Riccardo Tattoni, Société Financière Privée SA, CIGP’s predecessor, was incorporated in Geneva, Switzerland, as an asset management and brokerage firm. Over the years, the company expanded to become a private bank, later renamed Société Bancaire Privée SA, today listed on the Zurich Stock Exchange.
CIGP took its modern form in 2007, after Société Bancaire Privée SA was sold to Banca Profilo SpA, an Italian banking group.
Our skills and expertise mean that along with our clients, we have successfully risen to the challenge of economic cycles and the transition between generations.
In 2011, under the management of our third generation, led by Luciano Tattoni and Nicolas Costa, CIGP established an office in Hong Kong, where Hugues de Saint Seine joined in 2012. Since then, CIGP went through a series of major developments to offer full-fledged, high-end and tailored financial services globally.
By continuously evolving and developing our services, we meet the needs of ambitious entrepreneurs and family heads looking for an expert team to combine private banking services with investment banking and financial advisory on a global scale.
Today, CIGP’s activities span across three continents and five locations and is constituted of more than 30 experienced investment professionals dedicated to adding value to clients all over the world.
Our team works every day to help our clients meet their objectives and exceed their expectations. Combining best-in-class, independent investment advice with our unique perspective and principled approach, they offer personalized support at every stage of the journey.
