CIGP are pleased to welcome Emma Chin, who joins as Chief of Staff, based in Hong Kong.
Emma will work closely with Senior Management to oversee existing processes, directly supporting the team, and will focus on optimisation within the firm. Emma will draw on her expertise from more than a decade of professional experience with major global investment banks to make strategic recommendations within the firm.
Prior to joining CIGP, Emma was Chief of Staff to the APAC COO and Project Manager at Société Générale in Hong Kong, focused on driving strategic transformation and execution in Asia. Emma was also an Equity Change Delivery Manager at HSBC, in Hong Kong. She analysed business impact from Exchange settlement cycles and changes on HSBC’s equity business.
Before HSBC, Emma worked for over 3 years at UBS in Hong Kong, initially as a Fixed Income Trade Support and Project Manager, then moving onto a Prime Brokerage Collateral and Risk Specialist function analysing hedge fund client portfolio valuations and risk exposure against collateral.
Emma started her career in Structured Product Trade Support at JP Morgan in London.
Emma holds a bachelor’s degree of Science in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Emma also graduated from Bayes Business School (formerly known as Cass Business School), with a Master of Science in International Accounting and Finance.
Emma is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
